The Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN formerly SPBT) is a worldwide 501(c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to supporting the professional goals of trainers in the life sciences, inclusive of medical device and diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies. Since 1971, LTEN has been a conduit to keeping the training industry educated, informed, and connected, and is the only non-profit organization solely devoted to strengthening training in the healthcare industry with the ultimate benefit of improving patient care.

LTEN members include professionals with responsibility in pharmaceutical sales training and medical device sales training primarily. LTEN also has members across non-commercial disciplines including clinical, manufacturing, compliance, regulatory, quality and GxP training roles.

LTEN launched the LTEN Career Center recently as a part of its commitment to support professional development of its members. The LTEN Career Center lists Life Science jobs for both job seekers and employers making it convenient to find all industry specific jobsunder one roof. To provider wider options to its members, LTEN also started featuring the Association of Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD) job postings in LTEN Career Center.

LTEN believes that developing skills, as a trainer is an on-going process, which is why it provides year-round workshops, certificate programs, webinars and networking opportunities for its members to enhance and expand upon their skills. LTEN carefully designs programs for new trainers in need of fundamentals as well as for seasoned trainers wanting to stay ahead of the curve. LTEN also has specific leadership development programs for the ones who are looking to navigate today’s complex and fast paced business landscape.

LTEN wholeheartedly believes in providing life sciences training and education professionals with the Clarity, Community and Career resources they need to excel in leadership and learning.
